Gypsy, Fortune Teller....is there a difference?

Traditionally I like to make Sunny's costumes for Halloween. Like her Pippi last year.

This year she wants to be a fortune teller....which lead us to gypsies....are they the same thing?

Should I make her look like this?

Or this?

Or this?

I think a gypsy is a person who just doesn't have anywhere to live. A fortune teller can tell the future. She actually should be called a future teller, not fortune. I vote for the 2nd one. The outfit is way cuter and she has on more make up. The 3rd one is really cute, but I'm sure Sunny would complain that it was uncomfortable. Super cute Pipi!!!

The Pipi pic is priceless! Gypsies are often fortune tellers and traditionally they are swindlers or thieves as well. I think fortune teller sounds "lighter" and better for a 2nd grader. sounds like someone at a carnival or something.
She is so cute!! Can't wait to see the costume!
The last costume is cool...reminds me of your spider costume!!

I like the #2 picture also...We'll take bunches of photos that day because we will be there!!!
It will be a a great day and I will not eat pumpkin pie...(do Hawaiians make poi pie?)
Leesa amd her family are going to be there too...I can just see the 'cousin' rivalry with Thea and Sunny trying to outdo each other...

I'd say #1, because it's funnier to be creepy than slutty...and she could use the sweet accent that Brad Pitt has in Snatch!
