Coconut King

Here in Hawaii, the Coconut is King!
This one is as big as Elijah.
When we popped it open it had 4 CUPS of milk inside, and it was VERY VERY sweet!

Lunar Eclipse from Hawaii

I stayed awake alone to watch the Eclipse last night.
Though I'd love to say I took this picture with my uber-telescopic-zoom, I didn't...but this is what it looked like from my front yard!

So awesome!

Full Moons and Babies

My dear friend Stephanie had a big baby boy last night naturally, on his due date!
8 pounds 10 ounces.....
Jack Thurman Ragland joins, Cassi, Jaren and Mary-Jane to make 4.
And he is the 30th Grandchild for her parents!

Check out our decks!

This is what the walls are looking like now folks, we're rolling!

And YES, I'm a blogging machine, somebody stop me!

iMagine

The lady next door to the shop (her name is Sri,as in Lanka) brings her kids after school on Mondays and Tuesdays. Today they walked in and gasped at our iMac computer. Once I showed them the built in fun cam they went crazy. They were practically beating eachother up and shrieking with laughter!
Fatima and Ibraham, or Baby and Boy and Sri calls them.
To understand Sri, think of a hippie-fied Fely! She sells sarongs and other various made-in-china sold in Hawaii trinkets!

Sunny Side

This is Sunny's Sale Side.....
She makes bank!

The Kids in town

There is something to be said for our customers....
Most of them are under 16 years old, mostly boys, and because of that the exchanges we have about money and prices is sometimes, well, Adorable! Little boy with 3 birthday checks and 7 crumpled bills totaling 52 bucks....wants to know if he has enough to get a new board, (and expects us to take the checks as is...) The picture up there is of Keahe, age 15. Since we opened three weeks ago, officially, he has been in here at LEAST once a day. He knew exactly which board he wanted and asked us to hold it. He worked 6 three hour shifts as a dishwasher and saved every dollar to buy that board! Isn't he adorable? He has one Element shirt and he wears it every day! The other picture is of me and Eli chillin' in the shop!

And since we get free pirated internet here at the shop, this is where I will finally be able to blog better!
Aloha Fam!

Pahoa's Skate Shop

Our new little skate shop has been open for three weeks already!
It's evolution has amazed us. At this rate we should look like we know what were doing by Christmas!
Check out the shop before and after shots....as you will see we've come a long way!
